Automating Your Wall Spray Recycle with the CM1500 Recycler, Cookesville, Tennessee
Kyle Cooper with Energy 1 Foam in Cookesville, Tennessee has been a long-time Cool Machines’ customer. He owns a CM2400 and does wall spray cellulose. Until now, he has been manually recovering the recycled cellulose which is labor intensive. He considered a CM3500XL, but is happy with the CM2400 and really didn’t need a larger production machine at the moment. Kyle also already owns an insulation vacuum.
We offered him two different options: Adding hopper extension with vacuum inlets. However, that still needs a bit of communication and constant attention at the hopper. The next step-up is to add a CM1500 Recycler to help him use less labor and have a more automated process.
Kyle has a nice box truck with plenty of room for the CM2400 and CM1500 Recycler. He added this recycler into his truck and did a couple of jobs. The recycler saved them time on the job. They had it all hooked up and enjoyed not having to commit a large amount of labor to recycle the material.
We met him and his crew on-site in Cookeville, Tennessee. They were doing well and had a wall completed by the time we arrived. They did have some minor issues that we helped them iron out. They are a crew that has a lot of spray experience. Adding the CM1500 Recycler, they just needed to make some minor adjustments. The tips they were using for spray were a bit large and the water pressure was too low. They increased from 150 psi to 250 psi. Also, adding the additional blower added too much air into their spray. We dialed the blowers back on both machines a little bit.
We stayed with the crew for a few more hours and they were making great progress! Thank you Kyle for having us up in Cookeville and for your continued purchases of Cool Machines through us!
