Building Diversity in Your Business with an Insulation Machine, First Option in Deltona, Florida
Shawn O’Quinn is an accomplished mechanical insulator. If you have ever wrapped pipes or constructed ductwork out of fiberglass panels, you can appreciate the skill required to do it quickly and making it look flawless. Shawn wanted to expand into the other side of the insulation industry and insulate attics of homes.
Adding an insulation machine to their company allows them to expand their business. They are already in the attics doing the mechanical insulation.
After searching in Google, he found us! We spoke on the phone a couple of times, answering questions and finding the right machine to fit his needs. He chose the CM2400 with a 16 inch airlock. It is a great machine!
We discussed on-site training on the phone and made those plans to help him outfit his truck and provide training to his crew once the equipment arrived. On a very hot, summer afternoon, we met with the crew and went over the function of the equipment. Then, we climbed in to the hot attic.
Florida homes are known to have low roof profiles. This home also had a cathedral ceiling. It was a “crawler.” The crew was able to insulate this 1,650 sq foot home in one hour. For a hot day like that, getting in and out of an attic, quickly is very important.
We thank the O’Quinns for their purchase and the opportunity to meet them on-site. Click for more information about First Option Insulation in Deltona, Florida
