Helping Attic Queen with Her Used Insulation Blower, Removal Vacuum, and Equipment
Used equipment… there are some good deals and some not-so-good deals. Attic Queen, in Florida, found a setup which includes a blower, vacuum and even a large dump trailer. The equipment is three years old. I trained the original company on the same equipment and know the owner took good care of it.
When we arrived in Oldsmar, Florida, we inspected the blower and vacuum. Our goal was twofold: 1) Teach Attic Queen how to maintain her equipment; 2) Inspect her equipment and make sure she has a complete understanding of how it works and how to keep it running well.
The CM1500HP blower had some loose chains, so we inspected the airlock. It had some plastic in the airlock which caused it to jam up. This tension on the airlock caused her chains to become a bit loose. After tightening both sets of chains, Attic Queen lubricated them generously with a Dust repelling WD-40 lubricant. We greased all of the bearings with high-temperature lube. They took very little grease because this machine is in excellent condition.
The CoolVac23 was also in great condition. We went over the air filter, checked the oil level, added some fuel and it started up right away. The only thing missing on this vacuum was a filter bonnet over the recoil. Cool Machines has these in stock so we sent her one.
Cool Machines takes pride in the ease of maintenance. These three year old machines were in great condition and we look forward to watching Attic Queen use these on her jobs. Thank you for having us Attic Queen
