Insulation Machines for Special Effects
While some of us in the Great White North are now trying to blow snow AWAY, Cool Machines are being used to blow snow ALL OVER town? Enter Cool Machines!
David Krendl of Cool Machines has had his share of supplying blower machines for special effects for many years now. Innovations in technology have made it possible to produce all sorts of snow: wet snow, fluffy snow, powdered snow…name it and it can be done.
A special type of white paper, made in UK, is able to make four different textures produce a variety of effects. This paper is used to flock trees and to provide ground cover. Even houses can be covered with a specially-formulated fire-resistant “snow.”
“Snowless” states such as Texas and Arizona use a lot of “fake” snow for their Holiday decorations and blower machines like the CM700 and CM1500 come in handy. Sure, there are other more portable snow blowing machines out there in the market but these suitcase-size blowers use liquid chemical to produce fake snow. Great huh?! Well, not really as the snow “dissolves” after a few minutes.
The best option for making fake eco-friendly snow is the use of Cool Machines’ CM700 or CM1500 fed with that special white paper. The Cool Machine was used in the making of a Winter Wonderland right in the heart of Hampton, VA at the Peninsula Town Center. The preparation and “snowing” time took two days. A giant Christmas tree was set up right in front of the Mall while smaller Christmas trees were set up along the sides. The resulting Winter Wonderland looked authentic!
A reliable insulation machine is a must not only in insulating homes but also for use in movie sets. A movie production cannot really afford equipment failure as that is tantamount to lost time, effort and money.
